Canada Greener Homes Loan funding portal to close |
|
Natural Resources Canada (NRCan) has announced that the last day to apply for a Canada Greener Homes Loan will be October 1, 2025. The loan program financed eligible home retrofits recommended by an energy advisor. NRCan says funding for the program, which is administered by the Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation (CMHC), will soon be fully allocated, and the funding portal will be closed. However, submitting an application does not guarantee approval or funding, and applications will be processed until all funding is allocated.

A prolific songwriter from the time he teamed up with Greg Keelor in the 1970s, Jim Cuddy has since released 16 Blue Rodeo albums, and six solo albums, the most recent being All the World Fades Away. Juggling two careers created challenges and advantages for the band and Cuddy. “Way back when we started doing solo records, I think it was a way of relieving pressure within the band, because when you’re in a band with five people and you’re ascending, there’s so many demands on your time and you spend so much time together.
