NRCan launches public engagement for green buildings policy

Natural Resources Canada (NRCan) has announced a public engagement process for the Canada Green Buildings Strategy to decarbonize buildings. The built environment currently represents Canada’s third-highest source of greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions. With $150 million in funding, the strategy will focus on increasing building retrofits, ensuring buildings are net-zero ready, and transforming space and water heating.
