Canada’s 2025 National Model Codes now available |

The 2025 Canadian National Model Codes (for Buildings, Fire, Plumbing, Energy and Farm Buildings) were released in late 2025 by the Canadian Board for Harmonized Construction Codes (CBHCC) and published by the National Research Council of Canada (NRC). Key updates focus on climate change resilience using future climate data, enhanced accessibility, mass timber use, radon mitigation, and harmonized requirements across Canada.
