Vancouver will now permit the use of press-connect fittings to join piping in a stainless steel or copper water distribution system. By removing the need for open flames, solder and flux from plumbing installations, press-connect fittings can allow a safer work environment, faster and more consistent installations, and a healthier potable water system.
