A new study from the University of BC reveals that summer is arriving earlier, is generally hotter, and lasts longer than ever before. Researchers found that between 1990 and 2023, the average summer between the tropics and the polar circles has expanded by roughly six days each decade. Previous research from the early 2010s revealed summer was growing by approximately four days per decade.
